In this photograph from the early 80's can be seen behind the Estadio Jose Zorrilla (still under construction) the hill on which the district would be lifted. Parquesol is one of the neighborhoods of the city of Valladolid. It was created by promoter Antonio Alfonso, whose unfinished villa can be seen from the Avenida de Salamanca, 1970. The first houses were built in early 1980 and since the mid 80's, the developer acquires Marcos Fernández plots to continue building and creating in turn the Real Estate Parquesol.
is located at the top of Cerro de la Gallinera, southeast of the city, surrounded by four major traffic arteries, which are the highway Bridge, Round West, the southern ring road and main Salamanca.Las Avenue routes into and out of the neighborhood are Villacián Doctor Street to the east, the street Havana to the south, and the street Professor Adolfo de la Muela Miaja the north.

The district has six schools, which are: Pino Francisco Public School, Public School Professor Tierno Galván, Marina Escobar Public School, Public School Ignacio Martín Baró, Parquesol Secondary School and Secondary School Julián Marías. There is also the center "Doctor Villacián Psychiatric Hospital."

When 25 years ago started up the first buildings in Parquesol, only one person was able to imagine what moorland that was to become green.
was its creator, the constructor Marcos Fernandez, whose company was named to the neighborhood and person, to a square.
Since then, it has not passed a single day in which a group of workers is not especially eager to build a new building. Even today, and although there are lots that can be counted on the fingers of one hand, the image is still repeated.
But brick not only has starred in the past, always in red highlight any photo you want to take Parquesol, as well as the surprising dimensions of its buildings, its very broad boulevards, wide sidewalks, steep hills.
The main route Indeed, the greater inclination found in Doctor Villacián Avenue and its continuation by Hernando de Acuña. This is the most important of the district, which runs through and divides and connects it with the old Valladolid. Because Parquesol is, even if subsequent zones, the exponent of a twenty-first century city, with its advantages and disadvantages, with the tranquility, but with the coldness that passed. It is hard to find someone to walk daily relaxed, because in the streets dominated by parked or moving cars, but few pedestrians. Today
remains, despite its bars, shops, banks, a balcony of Valladolid, a bedroom community with many children, perhaps in another 25 years not only sleep, as their parents, but live and enjoy it.
Green areas, empty Parquesol
more of a neighborhood extension green areas, although their neighbors complain that they can take little, since most are located on steep slopes that are not logically for the use and enjoyment. Gaps are also still many local buildings, although little by little have been filled with shops and establishments.
