The narrator, poet, art critic and art historian visual Dominican Jeanette Miller received this evening the National Literature Prize 2011 in an act that developed at the National Theatre, and Corripio Foundation Ministry of Culture, characterized by a speech in which the honoree said he did not know if you've written more than it has experienced.
The profile of Miller was read by Mr. Jose Alcantara Almanzar, Corripio Foundation adviser, who highlighted the career of this creative woman.
Miller recalled how his father, the poet and journalist, wrote in an electric FreddyMiller stories and provided him with books of fiction and poetry, which he took to the lyrics.
The first part of program delivery was a recital by the Cantata Choir, directed by Professor José Enrique Espin, with popular repertoire pieces, including Live for Her, Yesterday and Song of the Earth.
