If I had to make a list of landmarks, the whole of the Bruxas Punton -Ermita Juanipablo certainly be included.
Imagine a rock, Punton , perched on a precipice, with Mayor Castle after her Escuain Gorge down there Añisclo Canyon a little behind, and the massif of Monte Perdido watching from the background. Now hear the wind blowing hard and imagine the coven of witches in the whole region (such Tella famous witches who have hair everywhere except in the language ) referring to the place to exchange knowledge and experiences, dancing wildly, and following hours of orgiastic offerings communicate directly with Satan for riches and supernatural powers.
would be amazing to see the show ... Unfortunately, the Catholics got "esconjurar" place a thousand years, building just below the Punton a hermitage, dedicated to Saints John and Paul.
So today we can no longer see the coven on Punton but we have given the Juanipablo chapel amid the magical enclave.

Antonio García Omedes According collects on its magnificent site on the Romanesque Aragon, the chapel was consecrated in the year 1019 by Bishop Borrell, Roda de Isábena, and it was recorded on a scroll of 2.5 14.5 centimeters housed in a pine container (called lipsanoteca ), placed on a chair in his dark crypt beneath the floor of the nave.
With its lipsanoteca and parchment containing, Garcia Omedes says the shrine is the temple documented oldest still standing in the Sobrarbe. The lipsanoteca is preserved in the Diocesan Museum of Barbastro, so the black pileup that we see in the picture below is the eleventh century.
